Tierlist

A tierlist?! How dare we, the audacity, the sheer brass balls to dream of rating the word of the legendary wordsmith Pterry!!

Chill, we get it, we know. Many of the people in the club have never read a Discworld book before this club, all are excited to read the rest of them. It can be helpful to compare the books to each other, especially because points of comparison help us unpick what we did or didn’t like and expand the discussion. We started with a numerical system out of five, and in fact older reviews up to Guards Guards have this review included for fun. They quickly became stupid hitting 6 out of 5, because Pterry is just that good.

So now we rank the books according to a tierlist based around an average book of colour of magic. We may need to stretch the scale, we’ll keep things fluid. Does this mean that the lowest D-Tier book is probably better than most other authors’ S-tier best writing day? Yeah! We get it, and agree. But in the context of Discworld and Pterry’s work; it’s one of the ones we personally didn’t like as much.

If you disagree let us know! We’re not going to change our minds, but we’d like to know why you think so and what drew you to the book.

S-tier

    A-tier

    B-tier
